Heather has specialised in Risograph Printing for over 6 years. She regularly designs and prints her own publications and print editions (which can be seen here) through a deep love for the medium.

As well as having a personal interest in risograph, Heather finds purpose in sharing the process with the wider community through provision of workshops, memberships & courses. Heather regularly designs & facilitate's arts workshops such as the laid back intro to risograph printing 'RISOCIAL'. And anti-computer print making course 'All Analogue'.

In 2018, she founded — Roots Press - originally, a specialist risograph printing service. Heather has extensive experience in making prints and publications for artists and local businesses. She still provides this service for clients depending on their project. In 2021, Roots Press became more community-led. Heather felt a desire to print with people, rather than for people, which aligned with her work as a co-founder of Underbank Studios.
Roots Riso is now a female, queer-led risograph printing collective, andopen-access press, focusing on togetherness and skill sharing. Throughout her Master's in Design, she used printmaking and zinemaking as a tool for engagment and enquiry with low socio-economic areas, an idea which Heather is still extremely interested in.
